Brooks just started laughing this past week and I absolutely cannot get enough of it! I'd juggle fire if it made him laugh. He's been in daycare the past two weeks and they say he does great. Michael drops him off in the morning and then depending on our schedule one of us picks him up. He always seems happy when we pick him up and I have to admit it's cute watching him watch the other kids play. It's like he has friends already. :)
We've definitely broken him into UK basketball as he has worn a lot of UK gear this month...March Madness baby! We are in the final four and I have no doubt that we will be National Champs in about five days! Go Cats!!!
I'm training for a half marathon that is at the end of April. My friends and I are wearing our Evie shirts and I cannot wait to run for her! My goal is to NOT walk...we will see! When I first started running it was like I had weights on my legs and it was all I could do to run 2 miles...I remember one time in particular right when I was about to stop and walk this big gust of wind came from behind me and it was like Evie was saying, Oh no you don't, keep going. Needless to say I made it back home without walking. Thanks Evie!

Back to work :(
I recently went back to work and it hasn't been quite as bad as I anticipated. I sure do miss being on our own schedule though...waking up when we wake up, going on walks, and eating lunch with Aunt Haley. Luckily I love my job and the days don't drag by too slowly. Brooks will start daycare on the 19th so that may be the true test. Right now he is jumping around from sitter to sitter.
We went to Nashville a couple weekends ago with friends and stayed with mom. Brooks did great both on the trip up and down and we had a great time going out to eat, hot tubbing it, and shopping.
At Brooks' two month check up he weighed 10.4 lbs and was 22 inches long...both in the 10th percentile. However, as Dr. Wells took his diaper off to examine his private parts she said, "Wow, he has a very large penis...that's not in the 10th percentile." Haha. Michael was of course beaming when I told him.

We had a tornado party at Haley's. Luckily Winchester escaped without any damage, but there were so many towns near us that lost so much. Praying for them!
Brooks loves to coo and babble especially when he's on his gym mat. He found his hands a couple of weeks ago and constantly has them in his mouth. I'm constantly replacing them with his passi...we don't need a thumb sucker! He still doesn't sleep through the night. He almost always wakes up at 4:00 and 7:30 and tends to go to bed between 8:30-9:30. He is still a very easy baby...laid back and happy, except when he's hungry of course!
